This website is intended to give Penn Township residents full and transparent access to all Penn Township governmental activities. We will regularly post all township board meeting dates and times, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, approved resolutions and annual budgets.

You will notice a complete list of services offered by your township government to include phone numbers and e-mail addresses for the Township Trustee and all elected Township Board members. Our ability to conduct the business of the township is only as effective as our ability to know the will of those who elected us to serve.

Penn Township has a population of 66,198 according to the 2010 Federal Census. This gives our township a rank of 20 out of 1009 Indiana townships in terms of population size. As a township government our primary responsibilities are to provide emergency and/or temporary funding for basic necessities (medical, clothing, food, shelter, transportation to seek employment, household essentials and essential utility services) as well as fire protection. You will find instructions on this site on whom to contact regarding any of those services.
